The one hour class: Tai Chi / Body Balance. Tai Chi is an ancient exercise program that was created in China, and is now one of the most popular exercise programs practiced around the world. Ray Sol, Tai Chi Instructor and Master Educator, will lead a relaxation of your inner self with the beautiful Guang Ping Yang style routine. Warm up exercises, deep breathing movements, and body centering, will lead into the progressive learning of the 64 movements. Each class is limited to 15 students to ensure individualized attention and growth. The cost is $50 for a six week session.
New Tai Chi / Body Balance classes are starting at the private PERA Club. Each session is 6 weeks long. New Beginner's Classes will start all year long.
The times are: 10am for Advanced 11am for Intermediate and Beginners.

The cost for the Tai Chi / Body Balance class will be $50 per student, per six week session. You will need to write a check to the PERA Club for that amount. Bring the check to the first class. They have a group waiver form that everyone will sign at the first class.
SPECIAL CLASSES
Throughout the year Special Classes will be offered to provide students with a variety of Tai Chi experiences. Classes using a Fan, Sword, Staff, and Spear will show students how to do exciting new Tai Chi exercises. Students do not need to know Tai Chi in enroll.
Also, Tai Chi Art Relaxation and Herbal Tea seminars will be held throughout the year. See date and time on the right side. These seminars will introduce students to an abstract art technique designed to help create art for relaxation. Classes will include Tai Chi relaxation exercises. Some classes will include herbal tea experiences, designed to help relax and improve overall well being. Students do not need to be artists to enroll. Please note all art supplies will be provided. All you need to do is show up and enjoy.
People with a desire to play and learn something new are encouraged to enroll.
The PERA Club is located at 1 East Continental Drive, Tempe, AZ, and the main telephone number is 602-236-5782. The PERA Club is just East of the Desert Botanical Garden, on the other side of the Arizona Crosscut Canal.
To reach the PERA Club: From the intersection of 68th Street and McDowell. Go south on 68th St. to Continental Dr. (1st traffic light) and turn right (West). Three blocks ahead is a dead end, AND the entrance to the PERA Club. Go through the gate, past the guard house, and drive south into the 'second' big parking lot. In front of you will be at big covered pavilion, to your left will be the club house. Look for signs directing you to the Tai Chi class.
